Regular Fit (The classic fit)
- The Cut: The absolute standard. Regular Fit (often also called Classic Fit) is based on the natural shape of the body. The garment is neither skin-tight nor does it hang loosely – it simply falls straight down.
- Vibe: Timeless, polished, understated.
- When to wear it? Ideal for everyday wear, the office, or more formal occasions. It's the most reliable cut that flatters almost every body shape.
- The Cut: As the name suggests: relaxed. Relaxed Fit is cut slightly wider at the shoulders, chest, and especially at the sleeves and legs compared to a regular fit. However, the proportions remain normal (e.g., the sleeves are not extra long).
- Vibe: Casual, comfortable, and relaxed.
- When to Wear It? Perfect for leisure looks, streetwear, and days when comfort is paramount. It flatters the figure perfectly and offers maximum freedom of movement.
- The Cut: Here, the oversize is intentional and a design element. With a true oversize piece, the shoulders are heavily dropped (drop-shoulder), the silhouette is extremely wide, and the sleeves or hem are often deliberately longer.
- Vibe: Stylish, urban, confident (high-fashion / streetwear).
- When to wear it? For modern, trend-conscious outfits. Important difference to "just buy a size up": Oversized clothing is constructed at key points (like the collar or waistband) so that, despite the wide fit, it doesn't look like you've chosen the wrong size, but rather fits as a fashion statement.
